You may be considering counselling or therapy for the first time, or to continue a journey of self-exploration. You may feel stuck or have painful feelings related to difficult experiences in the past or present. Perhaps you hope to have a richer and more rewarding relationship with yourself and others. Therapy can help this, as we work together to make sense of your experience, identify challenges, and find your inner and outer resources.
I provide a warm and confidential space to support you in finding your own way. Often, a chance to give voice to what's going on for you offers relief. In the safe space we'll create together, we can reflect on any issues you might have, any difficult feelings, and any unwanted thoughts. We'll also discover, affirm and celebrate your talents, achievements and strengths, as we travel the road to insight, growth and compassion. The aim is to make meaning and the capacity to live a fuller life.
I'm a highly experienced Integrative Psychotherapist, accredited by the UK Council For Psychotherapy (UKCP) and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I'm also a UKCP-accredited Supervisor. Please see my Supervision Page for further details.
I hold a firm commitment to anti-oppressive practice and social equity. I work with and welcome clients of diverse identities. I've lectured, taught and train at various counselling and psychotherapy organisations. I run CPD workshops aiming to decolonize belief systems and validate the lived experiences of culturally marginalised groups. These workshops are open to therapy professionals, students, and all those in the caring professions.
